​Wyan has many years of  legal experience, both in New Zealand and South Africa and has advised  clients on various matters, such as:

He has many years of experience including 13 years of commercial banking, 8 years as principal of his law firm in South Africa, almost 10 years New Zealand legal experience inclusive of the years as principal of Nelson & Co Solicitors in Whangaparaoa, Auckland. He is further qualified and admitted to the Bar under 2 legal systems to practice law and holds a Masters degree (LLM) in Commercial Law.
 
Wyan values client confidentiality and client service. He strives to provide his clients with accurate and timely legal advice. He is personally available to all clients, not only during normal office hours, but after hours and over weekends as well.

In his free time Wyan prefers to spent time with his family and to enjoy the beautiful New Zealand scenery.  Wyan is also a very keen woodworker and clay target shooter.
